I recently noticed that it is very hard to roll down and up, my window on the drivers and passengers front. I have the old fashion non-power windows. It just felt like the handle was off center and not allowing the window to function correctly.
I pulled the driver interior panel off and saw that the pin that goes from the window crank handle itself into where the gears are seems to be the culprit. The pin rests in a circle opening and my opening seems to now be an oval with bent metal showing how it once was a perfect circle. So I know what the problem is but don't know how to fix it.
Is it possible to take the assembly (any part of it) from the rear windows and put them into the front windows? No one in my backseat needs to roll down windows lol.
The car is a 1995 Impreza L with the 2.2 Liter engine. It's also not worth much so I don't really want to drop money into it.
