FS (USA,MA): 98 forester s for sale/trade

Hey guys,

I have a 98 forester s, currently not running but I have a replacement ej25d engine waiting to drop in. It has about 198k on the chassis, new engine has 167k. I don't need to sell it, but I just don't really have the time to put the engine in and I have a 2 year old so we need to do something asap as it's been sitting for almost 3 weeks now and I'm borrowing someone's car until I decide what to do.

This car has served me well over the past year (and still will be if it doesn't sell).

It is black, 4eat transmission that shifts smooth, and slight subie rust on the rear wheel wells.

I have done a decent amount of work to it since I bought it:

New front cv joints
OBX equal length headers
OBX catless test pipe (no o2 sensors=cel)
Stock midpipe
Sti axleback
New rear brake lines (hard lines)
New brakes (pads and rotors)
New ngk iridium spark plugs
New air filter
Raceland coilovers w/ front camber plates
Paranoid fabrications grounding kit
Silverstar or whatever the brand of really bright headlight bulbs
Regular oil/filter changes
Transmission fluid change
Alpine CD player
Front door speakers
Charcoal front bumper w/brush guard
Replaced rear passenger door
Fixed squeaky hatch
Rear wiper delete
Michelin stealth wipers
05 legacy premium rims w/ snow tires, still have a lot of tread
Stock forester s rims (oxidized) with all season tires, almost bald

What happened to the car? Well, I was driving on a rainy day, hit a bump, and my cam blew up and chewed up and spit out the seal, dropping the camshaft enough to jump timing. The drivers side head timing marks still line up, but the passenger side does not.

I am willing to sell just the car with the engine that's in it (broken one) if someone wants to swap it with a turbo engine, or sell it as is with the new engine for you to install it yourself. I also bought a steering rack to replace the current one because it is leaking, and will include it with the sale if you want, or I'll return it if you don't.

The engine cost me 700, and the rack was 50, so I'm already in this at 750 bucks and I can't afford to send it to a shop for the install, which is why I can return the engine and sell the car as is if you'd rather turbo it.

Needs:
Rack installed
Engine installed
Alignment
Better all season tires, these will last the season though
New power steering return line installed (I have both lines and will include with sale, currently return line has been repaired for the time being)

Located in Fitchburg, ma. Thanks for looking! I can text pics if interested, and I'll put some up when I get to an actual computer. I'm sure there's more stuff I can't remember right now, but if you're interested, pm me! :)
