Straightening an RS hood?

I am currently running with a bent hood, doesnt match up really, the gaps between it and the fenders are a good inch.


a body shop told me to just get a new hood rather than try to straighten it, but they might have just wanted to make more money in painting it.

I have taken it off and tried to bend it back, but it doesnt seem to work, am I just going to have to get a new hood for my RS?
