for sale is an ej257/251 n/a hybrid engine. The bottom end is an EJ257 out a low mileage(47k) STI, code B25C 701. Nitrated crank. The heads are from a 2.5 RS, machined to work with the EJ257 block. RS injectors. The engine has a slight "tap/knock" around 3500rpm. Could be a valve tap, rod knock or bearing noise. Click on the provided link and watch the video to hear the tap. The engine starts right up and runs good. Pulls hard, very torquey. No leaks, no smoke. I'd prefer to sell it as whole, as it is a complete, running engine. From intake to oil pan. But for the right price, i will separate it. Looking to get $850 for the whole thing. Would prefer pick up, but ill ship at buyer's expense.
