What do you guys think?

Noise started a couple days ago. I thought it was the AC compressor getting ready to crap out but I don't think it is. Wife took the car last night and when she pulled into the driveway i heard this awful sound. It comes and goes at idle and while driving. Doesn't speed up with acceleration. What do you think I'm dealing with here? I thought perhaps TGV but now I am thinking something with the driver side head. The car idles fine. No CEL's
