The other day I was helping a friend swap his auto transmission to a manual and I noticed that the RS transmission had a wired part in the speedo location.
This is what the RS one looks like.

I have done a little research and people are saying I have to take my sensor out and throw in the RS one? I would like to know how I would connect it to my cluster since it's a mechanical cable and not a wired one.
I also noticed that there were 2 wires running along the top part of the RS transmission, I would like to know what they go to exactly. Here's what they look like.

I just want to know if what exactly I have to do electronically for the swap when I start it, I know how to do everything else. I really do not want to see any CEL's after installing it.
