This 2003 Baja has been in my family since new. My dad bought it back in November of 2002, I took it over in 2005, and my sister drove it for a few years as well. I parked it in 2011 when I bought my Legacy, and it sat till December of last year. Since then, I have freshened up all the fluids and replaced the battery. I drive it about once a week just to keep everything circulating and charged up. It fires right up every time. Like most Subarus, this one had head gasket issues, but instead of replacing the head gaskets, I replaced the complete engine with a low mileage unit. The car has just under 205k miles on the chassis, but only 35k on the engine. It has been running for 2 years with the new engine, and has been completely trouble free. 4 speed auto shifts smooth and feels strong. It is an 11 year old car, and it does show its age a bit, but mechanically has always been very reliable. The front leather seats were worn and very uncomfortable, so I replaced them with 2007 WRX seats. I also replaced the head unit with a 6 disc changer from a Forester with aux port. The Yokohama All Terrain tires are like new and will plow through almost anything. I am looking to get $4,500 for it, which will include MD state inspection certificate. Willing to negotiate a lower price, but a lower price will not include MD state inspection and will be sold as is. PM me with any questions. Car has a clean title.
