Anyone Seen this before? HVAC in Glovebox

I was scrolling thru, looking for some gauges to get some ideas for my L's Dash. Then i came across this





Obviously its from a RHD L' from aussie, but how can this be done?

I havent explored the HVAC system, but i know in my truck, it has levers attached to the dials and rods and crap....Is ours all electronic?

I was thinking putting gauges there, but i love my AC... foodforthought
