I've read and now need clarification. EJ22 OBS --> Turbo.

I have been lurking on here and NASOIC for awhile now and finally I am in the buying mood. I HAVE READ AND READ AND READ...But the way I want to ask something isnt the way in which I have seen. I have searched google so here I am now. I have a 99 OBS Phase 2 Map with the single port heads. So already I know I can not use anything wrx for headers. I know that I'm on a budget and with this being my first scooby I just want to see how things will go. I got the car for 1200 so why not.

I need to the car to be my daily, can not be down for more then a weekend.
I already have a make shift cat back on the car, so exhaust flow should not be an issue.

Here are my plans.

-WRX Fuel Pump
-Vf11 Turbo
-06 WRX TMIC + BPV
-Wideband

-I am willing to notch my cross member, but i am still confused as to what i am going to need to run something up to the turbo from the STOCK EJ22 Header. This is my biggest snafu right now. What is this stupid pipe. I have looked at WRX up pipes but it seems like nothing will work using the stock header.

I am new to subaru's as i said, any help is appreciated and or if your looking to get rid of some parts, let me know, willing to buy asap.


Is there any way to keep the cat and the rest of the piping I just put in.
