I am a complete noob when it comes to the GC8 platform, and EG33. I am very interested in a 2.5RS though, and performing a swap on it. Up until now I was most interested in an EJ257 swap, but not I'm seriously considering an EG33 swap.
I am however wondering what it would take to hit 400awhp with one if it is at all possible? I'm not terribly concerned about the cost as much of what it would take to make it possible.
So far I do understand I would need forged rods, forged pistons, ported/polished head, cams, valve, valve springs, but I am not sure what else it would really take at the end of the day?
How far can I go with increasing displacement without weakening the block itself, and decreasing cooling more then I'd like.
