I intalled a cool air intake onto my subaru impreza 05 and having difficulty..

I installed a cool air intake to my 2005 subaru impreza rs 2.5. The car does not run when the mass air flow sensor is plugged in, When i unplug the sensor the car will run.
Anybody know why and how to fix it?
