I know the first response will be to just press out my old bearings and install the updated ones.
I'm going to say right now that this job was already done 20k ago and the rear bearings have since died in a fire. I'm blaming poor workmanship due to the facility or possibly damaged spindle bores. In any event, I don't want to bother with pressing anything in or out.
Tha said, I want to swap in the later wrx spindles with the updated bearings.
I saw some mention of ebrake cables. Are the rs cables not going to clip in to the wrx hubs?
Rear backing plates are different since they accommodate the fhi 2 pots. So I assume my current 05+ Lgt rear vented setup will not bolt onto these? I have sti brembo rears i saved for my r180/6sp swap. Will the brembos be able to fit these backing plates or nah?
Aside from that, my current stock r160 axles will slide right in. Yes?
