Well time for round 2!
As the story goes, I had a 96 gf8 as my first car. Bought from my ole man in stock form for 1000 bucks. Put a Rs front end on it, had the stock 2.2 5sp. Fitted with wrx rims, kyb agx's, h&r springs, fender brace, hids and wrx seats

Then I traded her for my lifted 89 ford that is built up . I was so sad to see her go and missed her everyday. I was even more depressed when I saw this on Instagram

I was feenin for another Subaru. I ended up buying a 98 BD lgt with the 25d 5 sp and 4.11 trans

That's how It ended. Boom totalled. I was crushed. So I had to get back in the game for the 4th time and attempt to recreate my gf8 .
I searched up and down craigslist for a 96 impreza wagon 5sp with no rust. Pretty hard to find one with no rust but after 8 months of searching I found one 45 minutes from my house on a local forum

It is a 97 with 2.2 5sp and 0 rust, complete barn find. Mods when bought-

Although I haven't sent the car nor driven it because I'm still stationed in MO , I already maxed out my credit cars and parts are starting to fly in, to include:

I have been reading up on doing a dohc ej22t- utilizing the ej22e block with the 25d heads with a thick hg, ej25d top end, td04, lgt ecu, wrx tmic and a bov with around a 8lb. I still have more to research but seems easy enough seeing how I have all of that except for the gaskets in my shop.
