I have a strange noise coming from under my 2004 Impreza Outback Sport.
It's not constant and sometimes I can drive 20-25 minutes without it making the noise.
It literally sounds like a rubber ball bouncing around the spare tyre compartment.
(it's not. I checked.)
Most of the times I hear it constantly, it's when I'm going over rough road (like 90% here in Quebec) like cobblestones or gravel for example, or a heavily cracked tarmac. Not necessarily potholes.
The rear shock absorbers are new but the noise was there before.
The car handles fine, haven't noticed it pulling to either side or any weirdness when cornering, even hard cornering.
I haven't been in for the front suspension recall but when I checked it visually it looked okay, at any rate the sound comes from the rear.
Anyone?
