Hello all,
After owning this car for 6.5 years, I'm regretfully selling my '00 Impreza. I need the money to renovate my office for my interior company. And this upcoming winter or next, I want to split the cost of a bone stock GC and cage it for hill climbs. This car is not my daily driver, so it has been garaged for about half of its life when I lived in CT. It has not been abused. I autox'ed it about 8 times. But other than that, I warm the car up properly, do not floor it every time I drive like some people, and I'm usually trying to get decent gas mileage rather than driving aggressively.
The car is located in Burlington, VT. However, my parents live in Westbrook, CT and if I see more interest coming from down south, I could possibly drive it down there and sell it from their house if people can't come to Vermont.
To contact me: Please do not PM me, I prefer emails to ZealousInteriors@gmail.com if you don't mind. I sell parts online all the time and it makes my life easier to have it all organized in Gmail.

I have receipts for all of this work! If you are serious I will dig all of them up.
Misc info: Car has a clear title in hand. It has never been in a crash. It is an Impreza L that does not show a sign of being an L, besides one tan seatbelt. I have the gray seatbelt I just never got around to installing it. Passed CT OBD2 test (has current CT registration and and has current tags) with the JDM ECU installed. I also have a spare USDM WRX ECU if you need to swap it in order to pass in your state. No ECU codes. Oil was changed 500 miles after the swap was completed, and I change the oil on this car every 3,000-3,500 miles with Rotella T6 full synthetic oil.
Engine:
-JDM Version 7 EJ207 STi engine (low miles, excellent compression)
This engine was listed as having 29,000 miles when I bought it in Montreal (have the email from JDM Nagoya). Excellent even compression, tested in front of me. I have only put on about ~4,000 miles since the swap. By the time I crossed the border and paid taxes, the engine cost alone was $3489. That doesn't include the cost of traveling up to Montreal, installation, swapping on new timing parts, etc.
-Engine was installed by Wicked Innovation 1 year ago.
-The car was tuned by Mikey at EFI Logics this past fall '13. Car put down 286whp and 257tq on a Mustang dyno.
![]()
-Block Heater (used for all cold starts in Vermont)
-Walbro 255lph fuel pump
-Wiring swap done by ECS Performance
-All timing components were replaced with Gates kit when Wicked installed the engine
-Fujitsubo RM01A GC specific titanium exhaust (rare) Full 3 inch no taper.
-3in Catted downpipe (I believe it's an Invidia)
-Grimmspeed 3 port boost control solenoid
-Custom 73mm intake with heatshield box made by Wicked Innovation (paid them $250 for it)
Transmission:
-2005 Legacy GT transmission with low miles, no grinds. I bought it for $1400. Look up this transmission, t has wider gears than an RS and is known to be very strong! 4.11 rear end. The LGT trans gearing is great. No huge differences between gears. And 5th gear is great for highway use, it spins 3500rpm's at 80mph.
-ACT Heavy Duty Performance Clutch kit for '06/07 WRX (rated to 420ft/lbs)
-06/07 Flywheel (resurfaced)
-Subaru Group-N engine cradle mounts
-JDM STi mechanical R160 rear diff
-Motul 90PA and Motul Gear 300 75w90 oil changed 8000 miles ago in diff and transmission.
-New stainless clutch line
-New clutch fluid done 8000 miles ago
Handling/Braking:
-JDM Sti carbon fiber strut bar
-Billstein PSS9 coil overs. Need to be rebuilt, but when that's done, they handle amazingly.
-Upgraded front and rear sway bars. The car came with them so I don't know the size. The rear one is made by Whiteline.
-Cusco underbracing
-Project Mu teflon brake lines ($295 list price new)
-Brand new 4 red pots ($680) were installed up front in 7/25/2012. So about 8,000 miles on them.
-RBF600 brake fluid (changed 7/25/2012). So about 8,000 miles on them.
-New StopTech Cryo-Stop treated front rotors (changed 7/25/2012). So about 8,000 miles on them.
-New StopTech H6 rear rotors (changed 7/25/2012). So about 8,000 miles on them.
-Legacy H6 rear brake caliper upgrade (painted red)
-StopTech street performance pads front and rear (changed 7/25/2012). So about 8,000 miles on them.
Exterior:
-Genuine carbon fiber RB5 spoiler (I have a stock RS spoiler if you prefer that)
-JDM Aluminum Hood
-Roof, middle part of front lip, and part of bumper wrapped in flat black vinyl.
-JDM Version 6 Grill
-JDM Rear Spats
-JDM Version 6 Front Bumper
-JDM Version 6 Side Skirts
-JDM Corner Lights with light tint
-JDM Tail Lights
-Tinted but clear front signals
-Blacked out housing headlights (bought them like this, didn't separate glass)
-Lightweight Front Bumper Beam (can't confirm this)
-RallyArmor Mud flaps
-Version 6 PU front lip
-22B hoodvents (have stock ones as well)
-BMW M3 style rear lip
-JDM locking flat fuel door
Interior:
-Pioneer touch screen double din headunit ($480 new). Awesome headunit. Has bluetooth to connect to your iPhone etc. Can play movies.
-Pioneer bluetooth add on box ($100) to have built in bluetooth for hands free calls.
-Zealous Shift Boot and E-Brake boot in genuine black leather with gold stitching
-Armrest cover is not installed but the car can come with any armrest you want (regular or extended, any material)
-JDM Version 6 Dashboard
-JDM Version 6 Gauge Cluster
-JDM Version 2 Type RA Front and Rear Seats
-JDM Version 6 Door Cards
-Trunk Light
-Viper alarm (not current hooked up, but the unlock/lock works). Replace the key controller and it tells you if it is locked/unlocked on your keychain.
-JDM folding mirrors
-STI key
-Blaupunkt Vx652 component speakers
-Infinity Basslink
-Defi Boost Gauge, Oil Pressure Gauge, Exhaust Temp Gauge
-TomTom one with custom mount in between center vents, hardwired for power. Still works great and displays MPH if you can't read in KPH.
-Carbon fiber Defi gauge pod
-2004 STI steering wheel
Areas needing work:
-A small bubble in the quarter panel passenger side turned into a rust spot this winter unfortunately.
-2 rust spots on roof, which 5 years ago I sanded, painted with POR15, and then covered in black vinyl to seal out moisture. They have not changed whatsoever. I think the work I did helped a ton. One of the spots would be removed if you installed the roof scoop.
-Drivers side front fender needs to be replaced due to rust.
-Billstein PSS9's in the rear need to be rebuilt. The seals are blown and the car clunks in the rear right now. As quoted by Odi at Felt, "The cost for rebuilding is $130 per corner, and the turnaround time is about five business days."
-Bluetooth microphone is not working right now. Not sure why, it could be something very simple. It was working in the fall.
-Boost gauge and EGT gauge are not hooked up right now. The boost gauge needs a new sensor. The EGT just needs a tap in the V7 manifold. The sensor is in the glovebox.
-I installed a new battery 1 year ago. It ran perfectly with zero starting issues for 6 months. Then over winter when I didn't drive it often, I would turn the key and the starter would do nothing. You turn the key about 5 times and then the starter does its job and it starts right up. I can include and install a new battery if you'd like.
-Small hole in V6 grill
-Small scratches on car as typical for 14 year old car.
-Very small dent in drivers side rear door
-The clear coat on the spoiler middle section is starting to have a faded look, it needs to have the clear coat reapplied. Or you can just paint it.
Parts that are not included in this price below, but can be negotiated with:
-JDM Roof scoop
-Ski Rack
-Stock RS spoiler
-Stock RS hood vents
-USDM ECU if you need it for emissions
-I have Prodrive P7's with winter tires with plenty of meat left.
-The summer wheels are stored at my parents house. They are Konig Featherlights. 17x7 and I believe they are 17.1 lbs each! Tires are worn.
- Team Orange steering wheel (1 of 10 in the USA), quick release: http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/show...8#post41939958
Pictures:
-These were taken in the fall before that rust spot broke through on the rear quarter panel. In the next few days I will take more photos of that.

^This photo was this past fall. Since then, I have switched to the OEM hood scoop.
Price:
I am looking for $12,500 OBO. If the price is under this, I may just part the car out. I know the list of expensive and rare parts on this car will exceed this price by a lot. But I'd rather sell this beast of a car in one piece!
This price is based on this listing, which started at $14k and when the price dropped to $11k, it sold in 3 days: http://www.rs25.com/forums/f171/t207...-brp-rsti.html
The cars are very similar. I have a few parts that I considered to be more expensive. I have put all of the business income that I've ever made into this car. I do not think I'm asking too much but of course the price is best offer. I'm a very honest person and my business reputation is also behind this sale. I have described every part in detail. No surprises here.
