I've got a 2002 WRX. Recently it started smoking out the hood, like really smoking. Fearing it was my valve cover gaskets, I took it in and go them replaced, but its still smoking. The smoke is blue, smells like burning condoms, and is very obviously oil, and nothing else.
So, I drove it today, it was smoking really really bad. I popped the hood when I got home, grabbed a flashlight, and could see oil drip onto the up pipe (which, incidentally, is wrapped, and a very, very big fire hazard!). The oil is coming from the oil feed line, the one that supplies oil to the turbo from the passenger side head. Since I have had this line go bad before, I am wondering if there is a flexible replacement line available, or is the OEM piece the only option?
