JDM doorswap - wiring differences?

Hey all - grabbed a set of JDM front doors (still looking for rears), and it occurred to me that there might be differences in the wiring harness, or in the switches - has anyone done this?

I know I need to swap the switch panels in the door cards, but it feels to me like the JDM window has auto up/down where my original has only auto down. Is this something that would be in the switch itself, or would I only find this in the ECU or something?

What else would I be looking at, physically or otherwise in this swap?
