After getting my aftermarket UEL headers put in on my 2005 2.5RS, my mpg has gone way down. I thought it was a bad air fuel sensor, but i had i checked out.
It turns out that the car isn't picking up the cats, even though they are still there, and dumping fuel onto the motor. The guy who read my codes (turns out i had none) said there is an adapter plate to make the car pick it up. I don't know what he was talking about, but can anyone suggest something to increase my MPG other than going back to stock exhaust manifold? Thanks in advance, Andrew.
