Hey RS25 forum, for the first time in five years, I am posting my car up for sale. Now this is only a feeler as of now, but if everything falls into place the way I want them to, then I will likely sell the car. This is hard for me to even post because this is my baby and some of you all have followed my member's journal and see the car grow into what it is now. This is my first car ever and I hate think about seeing it go, but sometimes I have to move on to better things. Now, onto the history and details of my car. It is a 1998 Subaru Impreza 2.5RS Coupe in Rally Blue Pearl. It still has the original NA motor, and just hit 120,000 miles this month. I bought the car at 104k miles and when I bought it I had the head gasket replaced. I am the third owner and I've owned the car for five years(that's only 16k miles in 5 years!?). I've modded the car through out these years and it was my daily driver/weekend autocross car in the summer. This car is a blast to drive even though it has only a NA motor and can keep up well with turbo cars in autocross. The mods done to the car are listed below. I am pricing the car right now at $8,500. Location is Chesapeake, Virgina.

So those are the mods I have done to the car. I have a ton of parts that come with the car as well. Most of these parts are stock original parts though. The only stock parts for when I bought this car are the front bumper and the rear bumper. Both of those were in bad shape and I got rid of them. The only other thing beside the bumpers that cannot be returned to stock are the door cards. I placed a fabric kit over them to match the JDM STi seats. Other then that, I pretty much have every stock item the car came with.

For the most part, this car is solid. I think the only thing it could need is a new paint job. The roof is faded and the hood scoop has clear coat peeling. I can't think of any places the car has rust. No rust around the rear quarter panels. I know that's a pretty big issue with most RS along with the head gaskets. I have a folder of maintenance records. Obviously I wanted to do a swap eventually, but the motor is still good, so I never actually needed to do one.

Again guys, this is just a feeler right now, but highly considering selling it if I get the asking price. If you are interested in the car, please have some knowledge of these cars, if not, please do your research. I do not want and will not sell the car to someone who I don't think knows what they are doing. I want this car to go to someone who will take care of it. All this needs is a paint job and engine swap and this car will be golden. My goal was to stay true to the Ver.5 look, and I'm hoping I will find someone who shares that same goal and not junk up the car. I am a reputable member here and I'm am pretty fair.
