I have an IHI VF28 Ballbearing turbo off of a V6 STi-RA Limited swap for sale. Turbo has no shaft play, compressor & turbine wheels are dry.
There is a lot of misinformation posted about IHI turbos on the typical cut & pasted ihi turbo comparisons found on various Subaru forums, but looking at specs from sites in Europe Japan or Australia gives you an idea of the potential of these turbos.
I got this info from specs published by a manufacturer of compressor wheels for IhI turbos:
The VF28 flows 465cfm and is similar in size to the journal bearing vf39 but is ball bearing equipped for quicker spool - VF28 compressor inducer is 0.9mm smaller than a vf39 while the exducer is 0.05mm larger than a vf39.
I can substitute The 8-9psi oem actuator for a 5psi actuator which will make this turbo useful for na-t conversion folks.
I'm looking to get $320 for this turbo picked up from NYC, I will ship buyer pays shipping costs/PayPal fees.
