Help Finish My Turbo Build

Hey dudes, I've done countless hours of research regarding my build, which is a EJ22-SOHC, that I'm putting a TD04 in. Currently I have most of the main parts for the build, turbo,06 wrx tmic, bpv, wrx fuel pump, subachad up-pipe, and wrx DP that I'm having fabbed to fit.

My goal = 5 to 7 PSI and DD reliability, on stock ECU and injectors.

Things I don't have yet and have a few questions on:

FMU - I've read a ton of info about these and I see alot of folks saying use 6:1, and some that are using the 12:1. And some folks that have none at all! What is everyones input on these, should I start out withOUT one or start low and see how my AFR is?

Check Valve, again I see lots of people using them, or more than one. And I however stumbled across this great read.
Smoking Turbos - EXPLAINED Check Valves, Oil Drains, Crankcase Ventilation - SRT Forums - SRT4, SRT6, SRT8, SRT10 & Dodge Forum
What is your thought on check valves for tuning?

Voltage Clamp - it seems only Split second is making these, is that really the case? They seem painfully overpriced for what they do. How is no one else making these for cheaper!!??

Wideband - any particular model or brand I should be looking at? I see the AEM on ebay looks quite popular, is that a decent unit?
Wideband location - seems anywhere from 16-30 inches below the turbo is the general consensus, any input on that?

Coolant lines - I see most people tap into the heater core lines, which I believe I have located near the drivers side firewall, however, how do I know which line is the TO and RETURN line? I've got the oil lines figured out, I'm referring to the coolant lines, just to avoid any confusion.

Any and all input is very appreciated, thanks everyone!
