Valve lash after lapping valves

I lapped all my valves and I am a little confused about how to set valve clearance/lash. I know the valves are probably deeper in the valve seats after lapping which means the stem face is now higher inside the heads.

Does this mean I have to set the clearance (looser) to compensate for valve stem face being higher?
