So i was exceptionally low on gas and was on my way to get some but before leaving the house, went to put a little gas in the tank from a gas can i had laying around. after some fiddling with the old thing, i managed to break off a piece of plastic from the tip about the size and shape of a nickel in the filler neck.
****, i say, then decide there's probably at least enough gas to get me to the gas station anyways and that the piece of plastic most likely wont cause immediate issues. about 200 yards down the road, it starts cutting out bad then dies. push the car home with a little help, then realize how much of a pain in the ass the removal of the tank is.
PLEASE tell me there's some sort of little trap or some **** that could've caught this piece of plastic and it just died due to no gas and not because this thing ****ed something up. Luckily i have no plans this weekend if tank removal is neccesary, but being able to NOT do that would be much preferred... Any help would be greatly appreciated.
